integrating Kate with firefox

I have the firefox add-on for web developers and would like to input the path to the text editor so i can open Kate from my browser. Can someone please show me the path?

I’m a linux nOob, but can assure you Mr Gawater, that it’s the best move I’ve made.

It’s the best system for web development. Just ftp from your file manager. Perfect integration between server and local machine. Bookmark your ftp locations to get straight to the directory you want. Edit files with text editor hot off the server without downloading. Color codes separate code elements from content.

Wish I’d had this 10 years ago instead of F$#%windows and dreamweaver.

Thanks to all you linux geeks and programmers. I’m a convert.
